Enrolment for Homework Hub

General inquiries can be made throughout the year however it is advisable to book by June to secure a space for the following September. early as possible to ensure the best possibility of securing a space for your child/children. We operate a ‘first come, first served basis’, if we unfortunately do not have a space we will happily put you on our list and inform you when a space becomes available.
Any child who has attended our Preschool Laochra Beaga and who are moving to primary school will be automatically guaranteed a place at Homework Hub should they require it.
Once your space has been confirmed you will need to download the Little Vista Family App. All registrations, contracts, communications & updates will be conducted through the App. (Little Vista Family Logo)

We calculate your fee by adding your weekly requirements together and then deducting your National Childcare Scheme subsidy or NCS to determine your set weekly fee. This fee is paid each week through the ‘Easy Fees’ section on the Little Vista App.

Under the National Childcare Scheme each child is entitled to a minimum of

€1.40 per hour attended, off of the cost of their fees. This could be significantly more if you apply for the means tested option. For further information and how to apply visit https://www.ncs.gov.ie/en/.

You will receive an invoice each Monday with the funds then withdrawn on the Wednesday of each payment week. There are 38 payment weeks in the school year which are highlighted on the payment calendar .

Non Payment Weeks:

There are 14 non payment weeks in the school year for which there is no charge. During these times we operate a ‘pay as you go’ style service. These days will be charged at the holiday rate of €30 per day before NCS is deducted. Please note children must be booked in for such days a week in advance through the App.

The non payment weeks include the following:

• October Mid Term
• Christmas X2 Weeks
• Easter X2 Weeks
• Summer X 9 Weeks

Many of these weeks will include camps for which there is no extra charge. Alternatively a child can attend the camp only and pay just the camp fee for the week. NCS hours can be used against camps also

Bank Holidays & Half Days:

Bank holidays that fall during term time are charged for, however there is no extra charge for half days or early closures during the same period. Holiday Cover €30 per day
